BUYER BEWARE!!! Lamborghini Murcielago A/C Compressor #410260805A

This is one of the more deceitful A/C compressors on the market. It resembles another compressor that Sanden made for a heavy duty application with one slight tweak, the gauge line is slightly different. The compressor for the heavy duty application is readily available and at a much lower cost... to the seller. Gauge line is the distance between the belt grooves on the pulley and the compressor body. The compressor Sanden made for the heavy duty application has a smaller gauge line than the Murcielago compressor. Meaning the belt alignment is closer to the compressor body than it should be. I’ve heard of some people having the belt coming off and getting jammed behind the pulley. I believe the vehicles that didn’t throw a belt will experience shortened life span of the belt(s) until the compressor is replaced with the correct unit.
